Live screenings are a fantastic way of being able to catch internationally recognised theatre for a fraction of the price (and without the cost of travel, accommodation or overly expensive food and drink).
Throughout the year, we show performances from the likes of The National Theatre, Royal Opera House, Royal Shakespeare Company and The Metropolitan Opera, all the way from New York.
Here is an explanation as to the different types of screening we may show:
Live Screening - These are streamed live from theatre where the performance is taking place, all the way to the Key Theatre. This is as live as it will get.
Delayed Live Screening - Sometimes it's not always possible to show the performance live on the night. This will be exactly as it was streamed live only played at a later date.
Encore Screening - As the name would suggest, this is the second time we are showing the performance. This may be twice within a short time or it could be years between. So good, we show it twice.
