Our fantastic programme is aligned with the Swim England national syllabus of swimming. It focuses on teaching a wide range of skills that takes non-swimmers from their first splash to being a competent, confident swimmer.

Our Swim School is perfect for all ages, from babies and toddlers, through to children, teenagers and adults.

As part of our commitment to childhood swimming Vivacity offer free swimming to all under 5s and every person signed up to the Vivacity Swim Academy benefits from unlimited free public swimming.

What is the Swim Academy?

At stages 1-10 the emphasis is on offering a fun and structured course. There are ten clear stages of progression, all taught in a friendly, supportive and safe environment with the focus on allowing children to learn, develop and discover in a fun and enjoyable way!

Every child receives badges, stickers and certificates along their journey. You also get access to our FREE online assessment tool which allows you to track your child’s progress from lesson-to-lesson via real-time feedback from swimming teachers poolside.

The Swim Academy is available at the Regional Fitness & Swimming Centre, Vivacity Premier Fitness and Jack Hunt Pool & Gym.
