Get access to 118 PCs installed with Microsoft Office software and high-speed Internet. Scan pictures and documents, print them out or send them in an email. Use the internet to find out about all sorts of things, from the weather forecast to complex particle physics.
If you’re new to computing, or just want to learn some new tricks, come along to one of our taster sessions run by our friendly and helpful staff. We have a diverse user group on the course ranging from local professionals looking to eventually build a business on-line, returning to work parents looking to re-train and pensioners looking to connect with the world on-line.
The sessions start with registering a 'Learn My Way' account closely followed by instruction on basic computer mouse skills. Once you have familiarised yourself with the basic hardware you will learn to navigate thNew to computers?e internet, set up an e-mail account and perhaps even sign up for Job Club.
All printing is free whilst participating on the course!
