Located in one of the city’s most historic buildings, Peterborough Museum has a wealth of stories to fascinate and enthral the whole family. With amazing objects and interactive displays for all ages, the collections comprise over 200,000 items of great national and international importance.

There are several car parks located close to Peterborough Museum, including at Peterborough Railway Station, Queensgate Shopping Centre and Car Haven near to the Town Hall.

Open Tuesday to Sunday, 10am – 5pm (last admission 4.30pm)
Open Mondays (School holidays and Bank Holidays), 10am – 5pm (last admission 4.30pm)
Open Mondays (School terms) for pre-booked groups only.

General admission is FREE.
Admission on special event days: Admission prices vary depending on event.

Groups and guided tours

Independent group visits are welcomed but restricted to a maximum of 32 people (for independent school visits: 32 plus supporting staff).
